FAQs

Starting a new church is definitely a weird and interesting process. And if you are looking for a simple church where you can show up anonymously, this won’t be for you.
But if you want to find the life-changing love of Jesus and help others find it where you work, eat, learn, and play, we are looking for people like you.

You can join the launch team, come worship and eat with us on Sunday nights, or connect with us to set up a conversation.

We are getting ready to start Sunday Morning services in September 2025. Click here to explore getting involved.
Until then, we are meeting on Sunday nights to eat, worship, pray, and grow as we prepare.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We are part of the Association of Vineyard churches. You can find a more extensive statement of faith here.
This is a sticky note version of what we believe:
God loves us and is working to make everything right again.
Jesus is God who came to be with us, was raised from the dead, saves us through faith, and calls us to be with him and live like him and love like him.
The Holy Spirit brings us closer to Jesus and empowers us to do the stuff Jesus calls us to do.
We can trust the Bible to help us be with God and learn how to be the people of God in the world.
Meet the Team
Right now, our leadership team is small. But it will grow as we find partners here in the community.
Nick Bettis, Pastor
I’m excited to see God show up in our community. Being the pastor here means helping you experience what God is doing with you and encouraging you to join in with what God is doing around you.
I also serve as a lead chaplain at the Heal Charlotte Community Campus, and I do marketing for a car lift company as my day job.
Shelby and I have been married for over 10 years, and we have two boys, Theo and Ren.
Accountability
Don’t like seeing just one person here on the leadership page? We agree. This is due to our early stage as a church plant. We look forward to a future where this page is filled with diverse men and women serving as pastors.
Until then, Nick has accountability and coaching with:
The QCV Board - Billy Kent and Allan Varghese
Billy Kent - Pastor at the Greenville Vineyard in Greenville, SC and Area Leader for the Vineyard churches
Sharon McCarter - Vineyard Southeast Regional Leader and Pastor at Vineyard Church Maryville, TN
Scott Venable - Pastor at Northwood Church in Keller, TX
